Description
The Vault is a small form network appliance built for use as a firewall / router, virtualization platform, a daily-driven personal computer, and more. The VP6600 line continues the Vault Pro series with the addition of 2x 10GbE SFP+ ports.
The VP6630 features an Intel 12th Generation CPU, i3-1215U, 2x Intel X710 10GbE Network ports, 4x Intel i226 2.5GbE Network ports, NVMe storage, and DDR5 DRAM.
Note: Intel X710 SFP+ ports used in this Vault only support 1GbE and 10GbE data rates.
The Vault uses standard Intel CPU and network ports which results in compatibility with a large variety of operating systems, including a number of open source firewall and hypervisor projects. The 10GbE Vault has built in fans which turn on only as needed, minimizing the noise. This results in an incredibly durable platform that can be used in less than ideal environments. Its all aluminum enclosure is a giant heat sink, keeping the CPU cool.
The VP6630 can accommodate up to 64GB DDR5 RAM in 2x DDR5 SODIMM slots and has an M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD storage slot. There are also 2 standard SATA data and power connectors and mounting brackets for optional internal 2x 2.5" SATA SSD.
